It had an elevator.
Even though it says it has a parking place, it did not. Since the hotel is in the city center, parking was a real problem. We could hardly pull in front of the hotel to unload our stuff. Then the nearby parking garage was full so we had to leave immediately after unpacking. The receptionist was helpful in trying to find another garage. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. It sank down and gave me a backache in the morning. The pillows were also very bad, as if they were full of fist size pebbles of wool.

It felt more like a 3 than a 2 star hotel, the air con was great, we were given three towels each upon arrival in addition to a hand towel, the bathroom was shared but the hotel is split on each floor into two apartments, so it is more private. You only share the bathroom with the people in your corridor. Like university accommodation in that way, there was also a communal seating area in the corridor. Great stay, very friendly staff with good English!
It can get noisy like any hotel and like any road in Italy, but I had no problems sleeping.

Quiet, comfortable, great location close to the train stain and the historic sites. Walking distance from Via Garbalbi and other trendy areas. Elevator straight up to the castle next to the hotel. Affordable.
The breakfast buffet had no gluten-free alternative. No fruit or yogurt even.

Very helpful and friendly staff.Clean rooms, very comfortable beds.
The absence of convenient 24 hour car park facilities. Apparently there was a garage in the hotel, but it was closed at the time we checked in (1.30am) . As the hotel was situated on a busy street with no free parking outside of it or on the surrounding streets, we were left with no option but to wake up at 7.30 am and leave in order not to have our car towed away by the police. The only paid car park that the reception suggested us to take was at half a mile distance from the hotel.

The air conditioning was poor. The toilet tank has cigarette burn marks - it needs to be replaced.

The man at the reception was quite friendly!
There was too much noise from other costumers of the hotel, and also, despite our air conditioning was turned off, there was a sound that came from an air conditioner device that was stored inside one of our bedroom closets. It was constant all night long and it made it impossible for me and my boyfriend to sleep, it was like a background "hummmmm". Quite annoying!!!! Also didn't like the fact that it had no free parking available.
